It is months since I last wrote.
My assessment of the political scenario at the time of 2014 general elections to lok sabha went wrong.I am glad that I failed in analysing the the political situation in the country where I am born and brought up.I am also glad that nobody in indian political circles is discussing the miracle of 2014 general elections.
NARENDRA DAMODAR MODI has really become a POLL STAR.In my self defence I wanted some time to analise for myself the causes of my failure to asses the indian society-political & economical.
After pondering over the issue for some time I felt the necessity of going to the basics.my basic back ground like many (the majority) indians is agrarian.The word AGRARIAN refers to land,land tenure,development,use and everything that encompasses land.If I have to go to my basics,the logical end is land and anything or everything that has to do some thing with land.
It is good that India has a constitution and we,the INDIANS, are governed by the constitution.Indians through their elected representatives have the right to amend the constitution.Indian constitution was influenced much by the unwritten British
constitution and most of the authors were educated in Bratian,the present day united kingdom.
Indian constitutional history shows the marked influence of legal luminaries and feudal aristocracy starting with pt.Motilal Nehru till Mr.Kapil sibbal because of their subject knowledge and from pt.Jawaharlal to Mr Narendra modi for their individual political supremacy as political icons in the diverse Indian society.All the political rulers of India post Independence, whether at the centre or in the states, irrespective of their political identification enjoyed the so called bad laws which were passed by the legislature despite their opposition (reluctantly acceped/gladly enjoyed ).
Ordinance Raj one of the effective instruments in the hands of brute majority in parliament has its own history in independent Indian history.The ordinance for land aquisition promulgated by the president which requires parliament aproval is put to test because of ANA HAZARE's call for protest in DELHI on 24th february 2015.
The popularity of the of the POLL STAR will also be put to test If at all he is the POLE STAR of present day Indian political scene.
